Salary Range £22500 - £30000

We need a team of Learner Recruitment and Engagement Officers who can offer support to young people, 16-18-year olds, into classroom-based learning and work placements, to develop their independent training and life skills.

The role will require you to be able to work independently as well as working closely as part of a team

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • You will be responsible for recruiting learners onto Traineeship & Adult Education budget courses.
  • You will provide relevant guidance and support to allow learners to make an informed choice on their course and future career options
  • The role will involve building and developing strong relationships with local networks, community groups, schools, colleges, and referral agencies
  • Candidate Management
  • Screening and Profiling
  • Supporting potential recruits to complete application forms
  • Interview learners
  • Produce initial assessment report on each applicant
  • Identify appropriate training opportunities
  • Actively lead on marketing, advertising and promotion of courses in conjunction with marketing function
  • Run courses and recruitment events

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience of working with young people with SEND and/or in an education/care setting.
  • A minimum of 6 months recruitment experience
  • Driving licence and vehicle access
