What’s a traineeship and who are Skills North East?


Skills North East are a training company based in the North East with training premises in Gosforth, Northumberland and Stockton on Tees. We are focused in getting you into work or into an apprenticeship.

Here are our Traineeship Project Managers- in other words this team will look after you from course, work experience through to apprenticeship.

How can Skills North East help me?

We can support and give you the skills to understand working life, so you can make in informed decision on what’s best for you.

Okay, so there’s training & support sessions and a work place taster which could result in employment or an apprenticeship. This is GREAT work experience to add to your CV along with a reference from your work placement.

The programme is highly personalised and focuses on areas that will help your future career, this maybe employment, an apprenticeship or further education.


On completion every Trainee will have a guarantee interview for work or an apprenticeship.

Sector focused vocational learning to help prepare you for your apprenticeship or job (hands on proper learning!).
