Apprenticeship Levy

Apprenticeships are a great way to train and empower your employees with cutting edge, specialised training.

Large Organisations & the Apprenticeship Levy

For organisations with an annual salary bill exceeding £3 million, the cost of apprenticeship training in Legal, Accounting, and Payroll is deducted monthly from your Apprenticeship Levy account. Your business contributes to this ringfenced fund each month, specifically reserved for apprenticeship training.

Funds in your Apprenticeship Levy account are available for up to 2 years. If you don’t use all your funds, you can transfer up to 25% to another organisation.

Training Costs for Small Businesses

For businesses with an annual salary bill under £3 million, the Government covers 95% of training fees for apprenticeships in Legal, Accounting, and Payroll. This means you would only pay around £750 for the training.

Additionally, if your business has fewer than 50 employees and you take on an apprentice aged 16-18, the Government will fund 100% of the training fees.
